Lentils form one of the fundamental pillars of the Spanish dieta mediterránea (the English version of this Wikipedia page can be found here).  Today, we're going to look at a recipe for these magnificent legumes.  First, the comprehension questions:

5. What do you need to do to the lentils before cooking them - and for how long?
6. What do you use to cook the lentils?
7. What do you need to do to the onion - and where do you cook it first?
8. How long does it take for the lentils to be cooked properly?
9. What sort of temperature do the lentils need to be cooked at?

And now the text itself.  Remember, before reading the text, try and anticipate possible answers to the comprehension questions.  This will help you gain more context for what you are about to read - and, hopefully, mean you understand more than you would have done.
