Literatura: Robert Louis Stevenson

Yes.  I know.  A little strange to be reading in a Spanish translation an author who originally wrote in English.  But - hey ho - this is a translation blog.  And I have found a beautiful translation of a lovely short poem of Stevenson's.

First the comprehension questions.
  1. What seasons does the poem mention?
  2. What is characteristic of the first season?
  3. What is particularly mentioned as characteristic of the second?
  4. What does the latter produce?
  5. What shapes does Stevenson describe?
Now the text itself - it's the first poem on this page.

There are also some other very short poems on the same page.  See if you can understand them - or, better still, find their original versions in English!

Finally, here in the original English - no Google Translate version today! - we have the poem which we've been looking at today.

Enjoy.  It's a beauty.
